Dell’s Latitude sales team needed a new tool to help demo products at trade shows and conventions, so they partnered with Somnio to come up with a fresh approach.
A design-forward approach to sales enablement
We developed three potential directions for the app, each inspired by iconic marketing collateral. We ultimately leaned into the tablet form factor and infinite scroll to develop a sales tool that felt more like a magazine feature.
Inspired by print, augmented by interactivity
During usability test, we discovered a need for additional navigation and content, so we added a menu and new ways to progressively display tech specs and feature details.
A bold new look for a legacy brand
The app made prolific use of colorful imagery, motion design, and delightful interactions to create a compelling and engaging experience for interested prospects.

The Latitude Navigator was hotly anticipated by Dell sales teams, with positive feedback from users across the organization.
