A fresh start for a mature organization

Kyndryl, a spinoff of IBM’s global infrastructure consulting business, manages complex technology initiatives for many of the world’s largest firms. As the company seeks to differentiate itself against competition, it turned to argodesign for help designing an ambitious vision for self-serve, innovative, & modern managed services.

Making discovery to deployment turnkey

The company pinned its growth on an open marketplace for 1st and 3rd-party providers to promote core applications, integrations, solutions, and advisory services custom-built to solve a variety of tech-related business problems, from migration and modernization to telematics and business transformation.

Augment, not replace

What we realized through this project is that self-serve tools only solve half the problem; many of their solution engagements required complex human engineering and personal care. As a result, we opened the design aperture to solve for both fully-automated and technology-augmented offerings.

A comprehensive platform for IT initiatives

The resulting vision introduced a new digital engagement model for their consultants and clients, powered by proprietary AI, to deliver exceptional results for a fraction of the time and cost of traditional programs. And more importantly, their clients could maintain valuable visibility, control, and agility in their business technology decisions.

Leading the future of technical services

Dubbed Kyndryl Bridge, the vision design and strategy was further highlighted as part of their investor pitch, and remains central to the company’s strategic growth initiative.
